Screw Conveyors
Screw conveyors are used to convey powdered and granular raw materials between specific points. Industrial products such as micronized ores, cement, PVC and flour can be moved between two points by means of a helical screw.
Screw conveyors mechanically transfer bulk raw materials in powder or granular form. Material is moved between two desired points along a linear path with the help of the screw conveyor. Screw feeders and conveyors vary by application. In industrial use, the screw conveyor design changes according to variables such as raw-material properties, capacity and distance. Screw diameter, flight design, inlet/outlet throats, bearings and motor power all vary with the application.
