Electromagnetic Lifters

Electromagnetic Lifting Magnets
Electromagnetic lifting magnets are used to handle and transfer ferromagnetic pipes, plates and metallic scrap of various forms. Depending on the working area, single-body or multi-body single-control configurations may be selected. Magnetic field strength varies according to the size and surface area of the load. They can be manufactured with welded steel bodies or high-alloy cast bodies.
Rectangular lifting magnets are manufactured as cast or welded, while round scrap magnets are produced as one-piece castings, minimising magnetic-field loss. A three-chain connection ensures maximum durability and safety.
Rectangular and multi-traverse-connected magnets are used for lifting various-shaped metals at iron and steel pipe and plate works, while round cast-body magnets serve applications such as feeding casting furnaces, loading/unloading scrap onto vehicles, and transferring scrap metals.
• Duty cycle for scrap-handling magnets is 75% / 10 minutes.
• Operating voltage: 220 VDC.
• The terminal box is IP65-rated and designed for easy connection.
