Ore Beneficiation Plants

Nickel Ore Beneficiation
Nickel ore beneficiation comprises two main methods. Depending on mineralogy, pre-beneficiation may be carried out using high-intensity magnetic separation or hydrometallurgical methods. In the final stage, chemical leaching at high pressure and temperature delivers the desired nickel grade.
High-intensity nickel pre-beneficiation applications are themselves divided into:
• High-intensity dry magnetic beneficiation as lump ore
• Micronized high-intensity wet beneficiation
After applying the appropriate option, the process moves to the final stage. In hydrometallurgical beneficiation, the correct density medium is determined through accurate mineralogical study, providing the right environment for ore pre-separation.
BAS laboratories determine the optimum process flow for ore recovery with the correct particle size and the best possible efficiency at the right magnetic-field or hydrometallurgical stages.
