Ore Beneficiation Equipment

High Intensity Wet Electromagnetic Separators

High intensity electromagnetic separators are used in the beneficiation of low-susceptibility ferromagnetic metals and as alternatives to electromagnetic filters in high-capacity impurity separation applications.

Description

High-intensity wet electromagnetic separators are used in the beneficiation of low-susceptibility ferromagnetic metals and as alternatives to electromagnetic filters in high-capacity impurity separation applications. The prepared pulp is fed through ore-feed channels into the magnetic separation pool inside the separator. The vertically operating ring magnetic pool captures materials with magnetic susceptibility and carries them in the direction the matrix moves. The magnetic materials captured on the matrix are transported to the rinsing section where the magnetic field is zero, collected in the magnetic chamber with high-pressure water, cleaned and discharged from the system. Lower-susceptibility magnetic materials and non-magnetic materials are not captured by the pool; through agitation they are repeatedly exposed to the matrix magnetic field, and in the final stage they are routed to separate non-magnetic and middlings chutes, completing the process.
